Making a custom silk scarf or tie takes many steps before the final luxurious accessories are created. First, to create beautiful artwork and patterns for your custom accessories, we follow your brand colors and logo to get inspired by the unique brand voice and final use of custom products. The company logo is a primary inspiration if we create custom accessories for the team as part of the corporate uniform. In other cases, if your team is preparing for the upcoming Summit, Show, Anniversary, Non Profit Fundraising, Club Event, or Trade Expo in a particular city or state, we can create a design inspired by the town of the event, incorporating your company logo, event colors, message, names, milestones, dates, historical photos or landmarks of the city into a custom pattern and print of your final accessories style, reflecting the spirit and mood of the upcoming event.
After our clients approve the final artwork, we move your order to the manufacturing process.
The manufacturing process is handcrafted when scarves and ties are screen printed, but it is computerized when scarves are digitally printed. Most of the work, in both cases, is carried out by hand by professionals with years of experience in the field.
When the factory receives the file with the design, layers are separated by color. A particular printing frame, called a screen, is prepared for each color. Depending on the number of colors we would use, there may be 3, 7, 12, or more different printing frames for each scarf for the screen printing technique.
Dyes are prepared by hand using a color palette and mixing chemical products authorized by applicable rules and regulations.
The screen printing process continues on a long table where fabrics are stretched, and two people move the printing frames by carefully introducing dye by dye of each scarf or tie. To ensure quality control in every step and that the whole process is started over in case of failure.
For digital printing, the company receives the files, separates them into different channels, one for each color, and conveys them to the machine specifying the recipe chosen for each color. In this case, we print all colors in one step.
After screening or digital printing, the fabric is taken to the steaming process step so that the colors reflect correctly onto the textile. After steaming, the fabric roll is washed, controlled, and treated with final manufacturing details and then ironed to confer the desired hand feeling and size to the fabric. After a further inspection, the meters are cut and hemmed by hand so that the resulting scarf, pocket square, or tie is a unique and perfect piece of art.
